Drag your files or a whole folder. Videos, photos, archives: everything is sent as is, with no compression.

2. Share the link

Paste it on WhatsApp, in a message or as a QR code, or send it by email from Hopfile with a free account. Password and expiry date if needed.

3. Get notified

With a free account, you get a message for each download, by email or on Slack, and you see where and on which device your files were picked up.

Is Hopfile free, and how much can I send?
Yes, no credit card and not even an account: up to 5 GB per transfer (50 files at most). Your videos and photos are sent as is, with no compression. Need more? Write to us and we will make you a custom offer.
How long do my files stay available?
Without an account, 7 days. With a free account, 15 days. You can also pick an earlier date. When it expires, the files are deleted from our servers and the link stops working.
Does my recipient need an account?
No. They open the link, see the list of files and download them one by one or all at once as a ZIP archive.
What does a free account add?
You send up to 10 GB per transfer and keep your files for 15 days. You can send the link by email, with a message (10 sends per day). You get notified as soon as your files are downloaded, by email, Slack, Teams or webhook, and each download shows up in your dashboard. You can also receive files: share a drop link, and the person sends without creating an account.
Are my files safe?
Yes. Only the people who have the link can open them, and you can add a password, an expiry date or a download limit. They are encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and on our servers (AES-256), stored in the European Union with Cloudflare, and deleted when the link expires. We use them for nothing other than the transfer. The details: storage, encryption, deletion.
